Travel News from the St. Louis CVC december2014 As 2014 comes to a close, there’s plenty to see and do in St. Louis. With New Year’s celebrations and new events coming to town, St. Louis has something for everyone as we turn the calendar to 2015! Ringing in the New Year The annual First Night® in Grand Center (Dec. 31) returns to help ring in the New Year with performing arts, musicians, storytellers, dancers, magicians, actors, puppeteers and many other artists. The events will begin at 6 p.m. on the Main Stage at Grand and Lindell, and will culminate with a breath-taking fireworks display at midnight. For those looking for a more nostalgic celebration, the Gateway Arch Riverboat New Year’s Eve Cruise offers a 3 1/2 hour jaunt along the Mississippi River. In addition to entertainment and great food, there will be a traditional champagne toast at midnight. It’s Nearly Time to Go LEGO® Crazy The LEGO® KidsFest is coming to St. Louis March 20-22, 2015, bringing all of the creative hands-on, minds-on fun of LEGO building and experiences together in one activity- and entertainment-packed family event for children of all ages and builders of all skills and interests. Friday Night Means Music on Wash Ave. Washington Avenue is alive with the sounds of music every Friday night as restaurants come to life with live entertainment, drink and dinner specials.
