It's not hard to tell what happened here, Lewis

We're not done fighting.
DemocratsJoin us.
Senate Republicans voted today to put their party ahead of the future of America's children. Pitch in now to help elect Democrats in 2018 who will listen to the will of the people.

Fifty Senate Republicans voted along party lines today to make Betsy DeVos our next Secretary of Education, Lewis, with Mike Pence called in to break the tie.

This vote comes after Senate Democrats held the floor all through the night to oppose this nomination. It's a direct affront to the hundreds of thousands of Americans who marched, went to town halls, and picked up their phones to call their senators and make their voices heard against her nomination.

It's not hard to tell what happened here: Senate Republicans gave a big-money donor a spot in Trump's Cabinet -- at the expense of America's children.

This is an embarrassing day for our country, Lewis -- one that may have a severe impact on this generation's ability to prepare America's future for success. And Senate Republicans are patting themselves on the back for it.

Pitch in $3 or more right now to help Democrats cut the GOP's celebration short and take on these Republican senators -- like Jeff Flake in Arizona and Dean Heller in Nevada -- in 2018.
