Your Signature Is Needed: Stop Disney Cruise and other corporate villains from destroying coral reefs

People of all ages are looking forward to the release of the live-action adaptation of Disney's iconic film The Little Mermaid. For those of you who recall the classic 90's animated version, you probably remember dazzling turquoise waters and ancient limestone structures. Under the sea, in a colorful underwater village set among majestic coral reefs flourishing with vibrant marine life, Ariel and her friends shared their adventures…

Believe it or not, Friend, much of the inspiration for this iconic fan favorite isn't too far off from reality. While we won't confirm or deny the existence of mermaids or talking crabs, there is simply no denying that our ocean's coral reefs are home to abundant biodiversity and are plentiful with nature's magical wonders.

One such enchanted place existed in The Bahamas called Lighthouse Point. That's why it's so ironic that Disney itself is the villain in the real-life version of this fairy tale turned nightmare!

Disney Cruise has begun its construction of a MASSIVE $250 MILLION cruise ship pier at Lighthouse Point, demolishing its natural glory for profit. The world's last great coral reefs are being DESTROYED by the cruise industry's corporate greed -- and we urgently need 4,092 more environmentalists like you to fight back. Will you be the hero in this story by taking action NOW to SAVE coral reefs before it's too late?

The legendary coral reefs at Lighthouse Point -- which once stood majestically below the sea and flourished with wildlife -- not only served as critical habitat for biodiversity and helped maintain a healthy ecosystem, but these iconic structures were also a significant part of the local Bahamian culture.

But rather than prioritizing the planet or valuing the wishes of many nearby residents, Disney Cruise decided it was more important to exploit these natural wonders for profit.

In addition to irresponsibly demolishing pristine coral reefs and undeveloped white sand beaches by constructing industrial-size private developments, Big Cruises' increased ship traffic disturbs treasured marine resources and aquatic life with toxic pollutants.

Friend, how long will we allow greedy, powerful corporations in the cruise industry assault our Earth for financial gain? Time is running out to SAVE our ocean's remaining coral reefs from being WIPED OUT: Add your name now to DEMAND action from the Environmental Protection Agency! >>

Thanks for protecting our oceans and coral reefs,
Friends of the Earth
