The Oracle Acquisition Machine Strikes Again
Oracle CEO Larry Ellison said recently that the souring economy would present his company with more opportunities to make acquisitions. While Oracle watchers debated which battered tech stocks Oracle would swoop up, the company went in a different direction for its first post-pronouncement purchase, buying tiny software-maker Haley late Wednesday.
