She's kidding (I think), but it's good she's starting her scheme to get him doing chores while he's pre-verbal. Hopefully, it'll become second nature to her and she can recline in her living room like a lady of leisure.

Fingers crossed, my nephew won't take after me. I had an excuse for every day of the week, ranging from hangnails to cholera. (Unfortunately, my Mom was a nurse, so she wasn't having any excuses.)
| Use Chores to Teach Kids Responsibility
Much as they whine, kids need to do chores, and not just because you'll lose your mind otherwise. Helping out around the house fosters a sense of responsibility and makes them better members of the team.
