Our Newsletter for the Independent Traveler April 2009 I attended the London Book Fair last week, which is always a good trip.  With the British pound being 30 percent cheaper against the dollar than it was last year, a trip to London is now more accessible. There are many inexpensive ways to enjoy the city. Many top museums are free—I took in the Victoria & Albert and the National Gallery—and a three-day Oyster card is a great bargain for unlimited travel by bus and tube. Plus, London is beautiful in the spring!   At the book fair, I discussed new ways of delivering information to travelers, including the new Moon Spotlight series of chapter excerpts from larger Moon Handbooks and Moon Outdoors guides.
