I attended the London Book Fair last week, which is always a good trip.
With the British pound being 30 percent cheaper against the dollar than it was last year, a trip to London is now more accessible. There are many inexpensive ways to enjoy the city. Many top museums are free—I took in the Victoria & Albert and the National Gallery—and a three-day Oyster card is a great bargain for unlimited travel by bus and tube. Plus, London is beautiful in the spring!
At the book fair, I discussed new ways of delivering information to travelers, including the new Moon Spotlight series of chapter excerpts from larger Moon Handbooks and Moon Outdoors guides. Spotlights are compact (70 to 170 pages), inexpensive ($7.95 to $9.95), and packed with great information. We hope you’ll find them as useful as we do on your next trip.
