Web Slices and IE8 Welcome back! Have you tried out the new Internet Explorer 8 yet? You might want to. There are a lot of cool new features, including a really interesting one called web slices. What are web slices? Well, you'll have to see what resident guru and prolific writer John Mueller has to say. They're pretty cool, and I'm sure it's only a matter of time before lots of web developers are using them. Check it out. And here's another question for you. Do you unit test? Our great blogger, Julia, has written an amazing blog that will bring you up to speed on unit testing by using the Test Wizard and a few other great tools. If you're not familiar with how easy unit testing can be, you'll definitely want to see her blog this week. (And leave a few comments while you're at it. Get the conversation going.) In the news world, Microsoft has released something very interesting. While many are calling it a social networking application, it's more than that. Microsoft says you can use it to "Stay in touch with family and friends, be informed when someone needs help." Darryl Taft has a short article about it.
