That being said, I don't have a clue what "they" have to say about us girls (guys too, I'm sure) that love that sweet and salty combination. Here are some recipes for all of us out there -
White Trash When I was growing up, white trash meant poor white folks. These days it's a delightful sweet and salty snack.
Crockport Chocolate-Peanut Clusters It's the dry roasted peanuts and chocolate combination that make this recipe a hit for all of those sweet and salty lovers out there.
Potato Chip Cookies 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter 1/3 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 3/4 cup flour 3/4 cup coarsely crushed potato chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets. Cream butter. Blend in sugar until completely mixed. Add vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Gradually add flour. Mixing well after each addition. Hand stir in potato chips. Drop by teaspoon onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool Potato Cookies completely on pans. Makes approximately 3 dozen Potato Chip Cookies.
