DOMAINFest Global 2010, which will be held by Oversee.net in Santa Monica from January 26-28th, 2009, in has just an Dinner Party to be held at The Getty.

From the Press Release:

The Getty sits on a 110-acre hilltop site in the Santa Monica Mountain range. DOMAINfest attendees will have exclusive access to the campus, which offers dramatic architecture, tranquil gardens and breathtaking views of Los Angeles and the coast. In addition, guests will have exclusive access to the West Pavilion and its collection of important works of art, as well as to the Special Exhibition Pavilion, which includes a limited-time Rembrandt exhibition on loan to the Getty. Docents will be available to provide guests with colorful and educational descriptions of featured artists and their work.

ICANN Terminates Three More Registrars

ICANN has sent termination notices to three more registrars, meaning that they will be losing their ICANN accreditation and the domain names managed by the registrar will be transferred to other registrars. The registrars that have failed to comply with the Registrar Accreditation Agreement by not paying their ICANN fees are: Hosting365 Inc., OOO "Russian Registrar" and R.B. Data Net LTD.

WhyPark releases Charity Auction Domain List

As reported earlier, WhyPark is running a charity domain auction in conjunction with Latonas.com, the new auction platform of Rick Latona. WhyPark has now published the list of domains that will be auctioned at No Reserve with a starting price of $49. The single highest bidder of all the auctions will be able to pick the charity the net proceeds of the auction will go to. The online auction will run from December 7th to 11th, 2009. The domains were donated by WhyPark founder Craig Rowe, Alan Macomber of KidsCoats.com, Stephen Douglas of SuccessClick.com, Andrew Allemann of Domain Name Wire, Bill Sweetman of YummyNames, Patrick Ruddell of ChefPatrick.com, Rob Sequin and Rick Latona of Latonas.com.
