iPad cuts lead holiday tech discounts NEW YORK (UPI) -- Apple says it has lowered the price of its popular iPad computers as technology prices remained competitive for the Christmas shopping crunch. The price tags on all six models of the portable tablet iPad were cut by $41, making it possible to bag one for as little as $458. "We're at the moment sourcing additional engines to re-engine those engines that are problematic on those aircraft, that may take a number of weeks," said Chief Executive Officer Alan Joyce, who flew the initial hop of a Sydney to Singapore to London flight on the first Qantas A380 to leave Sydney since the incident. <...
