Packing For Things You Don't Have Yet Eshwarya Patel Packing correctly is one of the most important things you can do for your trip. Of course you want to remember to pack the essentials, underwear, socks, clothes, etc but there are some other things that you must remember as well. It is important to keep in mind that you are going into a foreign country and that the things you take for granted may not be so readily assessable. Simple things like hair gel, shampoo, a blow-dryer are often forgotten. If you are staying for a few weeks it is important that you take these things as you may need them for your upkeep and the country that you are going to may not have them. Personal hygiene items are often overlooked while packing. Look at the way people are built in the country you are going to. If you are above their average size finding clothes, if anything happens to yours may be difficult. Take a few more outfits and things than you may need if you plan on traveling somewhere you are not the norm. If you plan on shopping a good way to make sure there is room for your future purchases is by placing a suitcase inside of a larger suitcase. Pack the smaller suitcase and the space surrounding the suitcase. This way you essentially have two bags. When you are packing to leave you can just dump all your clothes into the larger suitcase leaving the smaller suitcase empty for all the things your brought.
