An experimental, unmanned space plane was launched into orbit on Saturday for a classified Air Force mission. Powered by a United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 rocket, the space plane, known as the X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle, blasted off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida following a one-day delay due to weather concerns.
Saturday's launch represents the second time in as many years that the Air Force has sent an unmanned, winged space plane into orbit.
