Every year we celebrate St. Patrick's Day by wearing green. When was it decided that people not wearing green would get pinched? Talk about learning a life lesson at a young age… you quickly learned that if you didn't conform to the pack, you'd be physically harmed. Uniformity was the goal! So now that we've grown up and are wiser, it's not about staying with the herd but finding that it's actually fun to wear the green, bake the green, drink the green…. Green, green, green! It's like a celebration of the color green... it's like Green has a special day! Red has Valentine's day, Orange has Halloween, and Blue gets a lot of attention on the 4th of July, but St. Patrick's Day is Green's day! Sure, Green has to share winter holidays with Red, but no sharing on Paddy's day… this day is special! Go Green!
