This week's personal pick is The London Funding Conference happening this Wednesday from 6pm - It's a relatively short event that will help shed some light on different types of funding options available to businesses in the UK. Angels Den have been kind enough to supply us with a promotion code! Just go here and enter 'ADVIP' which knocks £35 off of the full conference ticket price. My own Startup nothingGrinder was partially funded for our Product Biz Bap! by attending one of their Speed Funding events. We are still searching for more funding, but we can personally attest that this event helped bring more value to our business.
Also, a reminder that there are still some tickets left for Geek 'n Rolla! happening on March 30. The After party has been announced but tickets are yet to go on sale. I'll be sure to keep you all posted. ;)

Mobile Monday London - Keep taking the tablets
When: March 7, 6pm

In this panel session, supported by BSkyB, we're going to explore the business models around tablet devices, what the opportunities and threats are specific to the device.
Mobile for the Cultural Sector
When: 8-9 March
Where: Ravensbourne College, London
The event will be introduced by leaders from the cultural and mobile sectors and will include themes relating to audience experience, mobile merchandising, mobile ticketing, mobile marketing and augmented reality. There will be a series of workshops for attendees on subjects such as business models and revenue streams for apps and how you would market an app.
