The Quest for Buying Power: pGov


Last week, I was looking for a standards group that could help promote the smart grid toward a better systems model. I suggested the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy would be a good place to develop such a group.


They responded, suggesting that the Consortium for Energy Efficiency may be the place I am looking for since they have been the focal point for the development of Energy Star. The Energy Star® symbol has been adopted worldwide to represent an energy efficiency greater than 20 percent.
