| Greetings , | | Kevin Gilmore | Now that we're familiar the people involved in the investigation of Kevin Gilmore's death, we're wrapping up our examination of the 1987 case files. In this update, we have a timeline that Detectives Nelson and Anderson compiled showing Kevin's activities before he died, along with a summary of the potential suspects' alibis and whether investigators were able to verify them. On the first anniversary of the discovery of Kevin's body, the Ole Miss student newspaper published a feature story about the investigation, which included comments from then-Sheriff Chuck Lamar. "It has been a long and frustrating road for everyone involved," declared Yoknapatawpha County Sheriff Charles "Chuck" Lamar. "I feel personally responsible that we have added such uncertainty to the grief felt by friends and family of this talented young man." In the next update, we'll start looking at what's happened with all of these people since 1987 and where they are today. Do you have a question about the case?
