The Playbook

We All Scream: Salt & Straw's Brick & Mortar
2035 NE Alberta; Northeast; 206.909.0580
Culinary ice creamists Salt just opened permanent digs in which to peddle a roster of flavors (all 2-for-1 for Thrillist readers) including "three berry BBQ" complete with baked beans, plus espresso and Mexican Coke/vanilla ice cream floats, milkshakes rocking Pok Pok Som drinking vinegar, and sundaes like lemon sorbet under chili peanut sauce, although your nuts would be chilly too if you were sitting on ice cream.
The full menu of chilled goodness can be found at SaltAndStraw.com

Spout Off: The20's Chiller Wine Cask
The wine-by-mail-ers (though not Norman, who only ever made the Executioner's Song-ria) have just released a new, better-than-cardboard vino box to keep things cool while you get your not-Franzia fix: repurposed decommissioned US Army ammo cases, which can hold any three-liter bag and easily fit in your fridge.
Jesse Ventura ain't got time to bleed, but he does have time to order some delicious bagged wine from The20Wines.com, then keep it cold in this case

Squawk: Mama Bird & Your New Folk Rock Favorites
Brand-spanking-new local indie music label Mama Bird is celebrating its first LP release by rocking a free, boozy party for the plaintive-folk-rocky 12" vinyl Last from Saintseneca, featuring songs like "Acid Rain", which is presumably followed by a cover of "When Doves Cry".
RSVP at MamaBirdRecordingCo.com to get in on the fun, and buy some records that will surely become collector's items when they sell their back catalog to Sony in 2050

In Your Eyes: Play Anything With LloydTube
From a Portland guy and serial project-starter comes a website that takes the classic boomboxed-Cusack moment from Say Anything, then allows you to boot the Gabriel and replace it with any song on YouTube, though very few ex-girlfriends appreciate the subtle harmonic complexities of the Alan Parsons Project.
You been dissed in the Malibu? Hook Outkast's Roses into LloydTube.com page and let that URL fly.

Chomp: Woodblock Chocolates
Producing craft choco-slabs in hugely dynamic flavor options like a 70% Venezuelan, local chocolatiers Woodblock roast, age, and temper beans they get straight from the source, raising questions as to why the leading hip-hop magazine has so many chocolate beans in the first place.
They're currently in stock at a handful of local stores, so swing by their Facebook page to be one of the first to get your hands on the goodness
