Ameren Missouri’s Business Energy Efficiency Program officially closed its current cycle of energy efficiency incentive programs on August 31st, 2011. The company will honor any previous written commitments but is not taking any new applications or late completion paperwork for existing projects. Ameren Missouri remains committed to energy efficiency programs as a low-cost and environmentally beneficial part of the company’s plan to meet customer demand for electricity. Ameren Missouri is currently planning to make a filing under the new Missouri Energy Efficiency Investment Act (MEEIA) rules during the first quarter of 2012. This filing is the process by which Ameren Missouri will propose future energy efficiency programs.
