The Playbook
Stay Dry: The Freeman Jacket
Seeing how it only rains here nearly every &^$#@@$ day, you need a damn sexy raincoat in order to pick up girls not impressed by your "is there Windex on your pants?" line. Luckily for your libido, the husband-wife duo behind Freeman makes small batch wet-stoppers in Seattle with two-layer waterproof shells and a soft flannel lining that you should totally be able to see yourself in.
Don't bother to see if it's raining, hit this Cap Hill crew's website right now

Eat: Five Fish Bistro
410 Broadway E; Capitol Hill
Opened by an industry vet in a former UPS storefront, this N Broadway shack takes its name from the number of fried ocean-based edibles it's serving each day, chosen from a master list of shell- and actual-fish like salmon, catfish, and cod, which is best not served by the piece, 'cause then you can expect the waiter to be a real dick.
For more on their future plans, hit the website. And then offer to give 'em five, they'll NEVER get tired of that.

Drink Beer: Urban Family Public House
5329 Ballard Ave NW; Ballard; 206.783.BEER
Presumably named for the new Ohio State football coach's home he lets the entire community hang out in provided they take their shoes off, this brick-walled brew slinger's from a crew of DC transplant brewers who're serving up a slew of sweet suds ranging from Stone Brewing's Levitation Ale, to Stillwater Artisanal Ales' Of Love & Regret.
See the full list of pours and lots of other stuff at UrbanFamilyPublicHouse.com

Drink Liquor: 15yrs of Tini Bigs
100 Denny Way; Belltown; 206.284.0931
The self-proclaimed "second-best cocktail lounge" in Seattle is celebrating its 15th anniversary by bringing back a mess of 10oz martinis -- one from each year of TB's existence. The drinks have been chosen by former bartenders who'll be pouring 'tails ranging from 2003's Pear-a-dox, to the Smokey Bigs from '96, to '98's John Wayne, which, because of its strength, will not keep you a Quiet Man for long.
The 'tinis'll be available all year, but they'll cost just $5 at this weekend's birthday shindig
