Good afternoon Andrew,
Metals remained under pressure as China's projection of lower economic growth filtered throughout the trading world....Gold eased $7.00 to $1703.00....Silver lost 79 cent to close at $33.76.....Palladium edged lower by $5.00 ending at $708.00.....Platinum finished the session at $1666.00 down $28.00 per ounce....In currency trading the Euro continues to trade in a tight range despite the Chinese and European data....Last trade $$1.3218 up 18/100ths of U.S. cent......Crude Oil is flat at $106.71 up 1 cent.....Over in the stock market the Dow remains lower by 44 points despite ostensibly better than expected ISM Services results...While the headline number clocked in at 57.3, better than the Wall Street estimate of 56, the employment component of the sector showed a much larger than expected decline in services associated employment....Remember; traders are already nervous in anticipation of this Friday's national employment data....So with two hours left in the stock market trading day; that's it....Have a good afternoon....I'll be back in the morning with the latest....
