Tuesday Morning Silver and Gold Update for 4/10/12....Peter R....Southern Trust Metals, Inc.

Good morning Andrew,

Markets are mixed this morning as traders digest a flurry of market moving cross currents....China announced a surprise trade surplus, North Korea is preparing to test launch a  long range missile despite western warnings no to do so, U.S. corporate earnings season is about to kick off today, and three regional Fed presidents are scheduled to talk about the U.S. economy......Meawhile; traders continue to talk about last Friday's disappointing jobs report....

Looking at the global stock markets we find Asian issues mixed in a range of down 1% to up 1%....Europe remains weak with losses of 1% to 1.5%.....In the U.S. the Dow is being called to open 18 points higher after Monday's loss of 131 points....

In London metals trading we find the complex mixed and quiet; at least so far..... Silver is edging up 3 cents at $31.63....Gold is $1.00 higher at $1644.00.....Palladium sits at $639.00 off $7.00 per ounce.....Platinum is $1610.00 off $8.00....

In other markets; Crude Oil remains under pressure at $101.80 down 66 cents per barrel.....In currencies the Euro remains rangebound at $1.3069 off 37/100ths of U.S. cent....

Today's key to trading will probably be the Regional Fed Presidents economic assessments...Does QE3 live or is it dead.....That's it.....Have a good morning.....
