Good morning everyone,

The U.S. Dollar firmed against the Euro in overnight trading as Euro-zone debt worries flare up again....This time traders point to Italy where the government has delayed the implementation of a  balanced budget proposal by a year....Not exactly what the European Central Bank (ECB) and International Monetary Fund (IMF) want to hear....The Euro is currently down 57/100ths of U.S. cent at $1.3070.....

The firmer Greenback is putting marginal pressure on the metals with Silver off 8 cents at $31.66....Gold is down $6.00 at $1645.00....Palladium sits at $662.00 off $2.00.....Platinum is $5.00 lower trading at $1585.00 per ounce....

Over in the energies the price of Oil is down 17 cents in advance of today's Weekly Inventory report and reflective of the stronger Dollar....Platts energy analysis is calling for a 400,000 barrel rise in this weeks IEA Crude inventories.....Last on Oil $104.03 per barrel.......

In stock market activity Asia played catch up with yesterday's western market results....Asian markets closed with gains of 1%-2%.....Meanwhile European markets are currently down .5% to 1.5% for the reason mentoined above....Domestically Dow futures are indicating a 33 point lower open with traders needing little excuse to take profits in the wake of yesterday's 194 point advance....

In other news of interest; Market guru and oracle Warren Buffett announced that he has stage 1 prostate cancer, but his condition "is not remotely life-threatening or even debilitating in any meaningful way.....That's it....Have a good morning....
