Ingate Systems has unveiled a software version of its E-SBC. Steven Johnson, Ingate president, tells INTERNET TELEPHONY that his company has seen great demand for a software version of its enterprise session border controller solution.

Internet hosting solutions provider GalaxyVisions has announced a new dedicated server plan designed for Internet telephony providers, for the low price of $99 per month. For the month of May only, the New York-based company will also waive any setup fees for those who order this new plan.

Hackers can see anyone's vCard, get the person's real user IP address and obtain their PC's internal network card's IP address. This is an ongoing, industry-wide issue faced by all peer-to-peer software companies, Adrian Asher, Skype's director of product security, told TechNewsWorld.
