To sell wholesale, local farms have long relied on distributors that buy in bulk and then resell to retailers and restaurants. Now farmers can reach chefs directly on a new website called FarmersWeb. The site gives sellers a way to show off their food and sell it to wholesale buyers within 300 miles of their locations.
