A local tech vet and his wife have turned an old garage opposite the Melrose Market into an industrial, open-kitchen destination for Middle Eastern eats, like an oven-baked lamb shank Khoresh w/ caramelized onion, a whole range of specialty flatbreads, and a marinated-beef kebab that -- in an effort to be inclusive -- is seasoned with allspice.
