The Soft White Sixties
Since 2010, The Soft White Sixties have been perfecting their sound, appropriately dubbed Working Class Soul, a gritty edge to modern pop. In preparation of their debut full length, GET RIGHT., The Soft White Sixties have put together a collection of tracks that date from their first EP in 2011 to the upcoming March 4th release. The five track set features two brand new songs off GET RIGHT., a pair of fan favorites from their first release, and a bonus unreleased track only found here. The new record offers a sonic diary of the band's last two years: an organic collection of soul-driven anthems, heart-felt choruses, sticky grooves, and clever arrangements. As the San Francisco four piece gears up for the new album they will head out of the Bay Area surrounding NoisePop and travel through California and the Southwest on the road to their 4th stint in Austin as an official SXSW artist.
Jonny P
Born and raised in NYC, Jonny P migrated south and settled down in Music City, which he now calls home. Brimming with nostalgic funk, Jonny P tips his hat to the Motown greats with his EP, Right to You (which you can grab here in its entirety). His vocals are soulful and his lyrics are unforgettable, so listen up and just try not to tap your toes!
