Planned Parenthood provides vital reproductive health care services to millions of women a year. With women's access to health care under constant assault by the radical right, Planned Parenthood is often the only place where women can go to get cancer screenings, prenatal care, STD testing, birth control and abortions. Republicans have already introduced bills in the House and the Senate to defund all of Planned Parenthood's non-abortion services.1 It's a blatant attempt to throw women and their families under the bus in order to score points for their extremist, anti-woman agenda. When Republicans scheme to defund them, they're not just threatening women's lives, they're also aggressively attacking one of most important progressive advocates for women in the country.
