Real Time Communications Ready to Meet Bitcoin Blockchain - WebRTC World

Blockchain is a public and open distributed ledger accessible to all trading parties. Bitcoin uses blockchain to track the movement of individual pieces of (virtual) currency between buyers and sellers, but Wall Street is ramping up blockchain applications to enable the trading of stocks in private companies. NASDAQ intends to use blockchain to accelerate the process of issuing and trading shares, replacing an existing paper-based system that takes weeks to resolve trades.
The 'next' generation has reached its destination. Those of us born between the 1980's and early 2000's are no longer the future - we are the now. No longer can we talk about what will need to be done when we become the dominating generation when most of us are in the workforce and make up the largest demographic of consumers.
International phone calls started out as expensive and of poor quality. VoIP and real time communications (RTC) have transformed both the process and function of international communications into a much richer, more flexible and vibrant multimedia experience that continues to grow and evolve.
API used to be a term reserved only for the most esoteric conversations at tech companies. Now everybody and their brother is talking about APIs. And today communications networking company ADTRAN is telling its API story.
The utility of WebRTC continues to expand as the value of real-time sharing becomes apparent across a broad expanse of vertical markets including use in communications services for home as well as work. In fact, an interesting example here in the U.S. comes from major cable TV network provider Comcast which has announced the expansion of its Xfinity Share app.
