"Free" Audio Conferencing Services What these "free" services don't tell you is that, while they don't charge for their audio conferencing service, you still have to pay to dial in. In fact, the way they make money is by charging outrageous rates. We offer free audio conferencing to all of our customers. Contact Beth Richter to set up an account. Our rate for dialing in is 1.5 cents per minute - far less than what the "free" services charge. SIP Customers: Fraudulent Calls We have seen an increasing number of instances of fraudulent calling lately. Hackers are always looking for new ways to use your phone system to place fraudulent calls, and the costs can be thousands of dollars when they succeed. We monitor for fraudulent calls and contact our customers when we see them. But because the calls come from your own phone system, we have no way of knowing whether the calls are legitimate or not. The most important step you can take is to make your phone system password as complex as possible, and to make sure you change it from time to time. Please contact your phone system vendor for help. Please remember that, in keeping with our Service Agreement, you are responsible for any calls placed from your phone system. |
