Stressed for time? 2 solutions + Beatles mini lesson | Man, I am so down with the Beatles. Such great innovators, prolific songwriters, and I had a ball playing a lot of their tunes over the years. Now here's one called "Eight Days A Week" And we got a mini lesson from Jon Maclennan AKA Jonny Mac, check it out: BEATLES SONG LESSON This song reminds me of not having enough time...not enough time in the day, in the week, in life... You ever feel that way? I don't want to be someone who is always feeling rushed, impatient, stressed out or pressed for time. But guess what, sometimes I am. lol... But you know what? I'm getting better. The key is realizing that there's a choice. If you can envision yourself more at peace, not rushed, etc... then you can choose to be that way. It's not about mind over matter, it's about recognizing the negative thinking, accepting yourself anyway, and then freely choosing how you want to be and how you want to hold any apsect of life in mind. gotta get your mental mojo workin... You can do it! Also its very interesting that so many guitarists tell me their biggest problem is finding time to play. I'll say this, you really do not need to practice for hours to enjoy your guitar and even get better... but you do need to play consistently and make it a daily habit even if you only play for a short time. Also I'd like to mention that given that everyone has limited time, I think it's a total no-brainer move to buy guitar DVDs... and I ain't just sayin that cause I'm biased hehe... seriously, the truth is that they just save you so much time on your musical journey that its ridiculous. Given all the hours you spend playing and practicing, wouldn't you want to be armed with the best information you can so you get the most out of your guitar? Also, when people say they don't have time, often they secretly mean they don't the energy, the motivation, or the inspiration.
