When the news broke that Microsoft is spending $26 billion on business social networking site LinkedIn, a lot of people wondered why and what now? It's easy to send a threatening, bullying or terrifying message in a relatively anonymous format, and while it only takes a second for a perpetrator to hit send, the ramifications on the recipient can last a long time.
