Dallas Observer is excited to feature Kent Rathbun for the second time in their Dallas Observer at Home Series. Previously, Rathbun took viewers into his home for a backyard grilling lesson that raised over $2,500 for Dishing out Relief, an initiative created by the Texas Restaurant Association Relief Fund. With over 300 attendees participating in the first event and video views rising daily, Dallas Observer is bringing Kent to its sister markets: Houston, Miami and Denver. Rathbun a restaurateur, four-time James Beard Award-nominated American chef and 2008 Iron Chef America winner against Bobby Flay, will take viewers back into his home for another unique virtual cooking experience! Round two of In the Kitchen with Kent Rathbun, will take place on Wednesday, July 22nd at 6pm. This time, he will teach us the tips and tricks behind cooking three delicious dishes each unique to each participating state: Colorado, Florida and Texas. Attendees will be provided with a shopping list to get groceries before the event, which will allow them to get everything they need to follow Kent's lead to perfect these delicious meals! Colorado - BBQ Spiced Pecan Crusted Trout with a Grilled Tomato Butter Sauce Trout is the official state fish of Colorado.
