Jack in the Box increased same-store sales by 6.6% last quarter by listening to consumer needs and focusing on fun and community with novel Instagram challenges, a virtual prom and other social media efforts. "We made the choice early in the pandemic not to pull our foot off of the gas," said Adrienne Ingoldt, Jack in the Box's chief brand and experience officer.

Slack unveils "#WhenRemoteWorks" on Twitter

Twitter tweaks retweets count with Quotes listings

Twitter is testing a Quotes count in place of its retweets and comments count. The social platform had recently launched a separate listing highlighting retweets and retweets with comment for each tweet.

YouTube removed 11.4 million videos in the second quarter, which was up from 9 million in Q2 2019 and marks its largest quarterly sweep to date, according to its Community Guidelines Enforcement report. The platform relied heavily on automated processes in Q2 and bolstered its appeals staff, which handled 325,000 requests in Q2 versus 166,000 in Q1 and reinstated more than 160,000 videos.
