Whether Fishing or Investing, Follow These Two Simple Rules

The Federal Reserve made a big tweak to its policy last week. It changed its stance on inflation. That means it plans to keep rates lower for longer... and won't mind if things get overheated for a bit. It's a flashing buy signal for stock investors. Things are about to get even hotter.

Oh boy... the countdown is on.

We're just two days away from the biggest event of the year... The Super Trader Rally.

It's going to be huge. Tens of thousands of folks have already committed to joining us for this interactive training event on Wednesday afternoon.

Our inbox has been loaded with questions and comments.

But there's one comment that keeps popping up over and over.

"Andy," folks write. "I've never made my first trade. Can you help me?"

We can. And we will.

Flies in the Water

Making your first trade is easy. If you can sign in to your email account, you can trade online.

The real problem is, well, a head problem.

Folks are scared. They're intimidated. They think investing is too complicated and loaded with risk.

It's not.

We often equate investing with something everyone understands... fishing.

You may not know it, but back in our college days we got paid (quite handsomely) to fish. We were the closest thing to a professional fly fisherman there is.

When most folks think about fly fishing, they think expensive rods, a box full of fancy flies and a line waving back and forth through the air.

These folks watch way too much TV.

Fly fishing is simple.

Figure out what the fish are eating... and give them bait that looks just like it.

If that doesn't work, try another kind. And when you find the right fly, stick with it. Don't change a thing.

In fact, we had just two rules on the water...

One Strategy for Cautious (in Other Words, Smart) Investors RIGHT NOW

The weird equation below just might help SAVE your portfolio (and your retirement too) during this very frightening time...

Weird Equation

It's a crazy story... but 100% true and verifiable. Check it out here.

Do Something

The first one is huge: Get your fly in the water.

Fish won't bite a hook that's zinging between the trees over your head. They won't bite a fly that's between your fingers as you tie on your fifth pattern in five minutes.

Get the bait in the water... and keep it there as long as possible.

It's the same with investing.

We can dig through the screeners and the market's winners and losers all day long - for weeks, even - looking for the perfect stock to plunk some money in.

Meanwhile... shares are moving and jumping all around us.

Remember, the funds in your cash account won't make you rich. For that, your bait must be in the water... your money must be invested.

In other words, make a few casts. See what's biting and adjust from there.

And that takes us to rule No. 2...

Where Ya Headed?

Never leave fish to find fish.

This was a mistake we saw the hotshots make time and time again. They were new to the scene, had some success under their belts and were convinced there was a pot of gold just over every horizon.

You know folks like this.

They're dangerous.

In the fishing game, they were always moving. They'd burn three times as much fuel in a day as the next guy... and come home with a third of the fish.

They'd catch a few but were always convinced the fish would be bigger and more eager to bite somewhere else.

They rarely were.

As investors, that's a critical idea.

If something is working... if the returns are matching your investing goals... keep doing it.

Too many folks stop doing what's working to chase something that won't work. They stay out of healthy, reliable returns while searching for the next unicorn.

It's a dangerous idea.

Your Day Has Come

Investing is simple.

Just follow the rules. Keep your money in the markets. And keep doing what works.

We'll help you with both on Wednesday.

Every person who attends The Super Trader Rally on Wednesday gets our free Trading Research Starter Kit.

Its aim is simple... to help you get your money in the market.

It contains our list of favorite brokers... our favorite screens for any type of market... and the tickers of four "get started" stocks that you can buy immediately.

It's 100% free... just for attending.

Even better, though, we're gearing up to reveal a brand-new strategy that we've been beta-testing over the last six months.

If you're looking for a strategy that works... this is it.

The system made 15 long trades. Fourteen of them were winners.

That's an unheard-of 93% win rate.

Best of all... these weren't ho-hum wins.

The average peak gain of our wins was 138%... in just 26 days.

We can all agree that that's a strategy that works... and one we must keep using.

Start investing. Get your fly in the water.

It's that simple.

We'll give you everything you need starting at 1:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday.

Be well,

Andy
