Merry Christmas!! And as challenging as this year has been, this is what I see...

Merry Christmas, Indiana Jones!

As challenging as this year has been for our family, it is one where we can look back and see such clear growth and resilience.

I see my husband work his tail off to help meet the needs and concerns of his clients, most of whom were dramatically hit by the lockdowns and restrictions.

I see my boys rise to the occasion and do their best to learn via video, and get creative with all this "time at home."

I see our Cody working hard to recover after losing the ability to walk beause of a herniated disk.

I see our sweet new puppy fill a void that we didn't know was in our family.

I see our home with such appreciation, and I'm so grateful that we were able to make some small upgrades to make it exactly how we wanted it.

I see my amazing friends, step into the mess and stand in the gap, to help our family through impossible days.

I see my extended family coming together in a beatiful way, after the loss of my dad.

And finally, I see time as such a gift. The "extra time" allowed us to grieve, rest, and connect as a family, and wow...what a gift time has been.

May God fill you with joy, hope and peace this Christmas!

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace and goodwill toward men." - Luke 2:14

MERRY CHRISTMAS from my family to yours!!!

NEW EPISODE! Dinner Made Easy Show

I should rename this to the LINNER-DUNCH episode!?!?

Last week, I made Baked Ham & Cheese Sliders for the Dinner Made Easy Show! It's a great way to use up leftover holiday ham...or just for an easy weeknight dinner using delimeat :)

Also, I TRIED to keep the boys from eating these rolls before my live video...because they eat these rolls like they are candy...but I had backup, so all was not lost. Watch to see how I improvise after a rogue attack on the rolls!!! ;)

Taking a break on Christmas Eve, but I'll be back with a new episode on New Year's Eve!!!

And now, for the rest of this week's recipes...
