AWESOME-NESS Inside...open up!

Hey Indiana Jones! 

Finally, a slow, quiet week.

Like really slow and calm.

And not like pandemic-slow.

That slow was laden with grief and drama and fear and blech.

This slow was lovely and soothing. 

And I'm soaking in every moment. As I know it won't last forever...

For now, I will soak it in. 

Amidst the calm and slow, I shared some AWESOME-NESS with you! (If I might say so! lol)

First, I have a delightful new recipe - Key Lime Poke Cake - you MUST MAKE THIS NEXT WEEK. 

Next, I'm working on getting the Back to School stuff ready for you and some is at the top of the blog now. (Don't throw tomatoes - I know some of my email pals are already getting their BTS things in order. Even though, I'm still over here relishing in the summer calm, I know the madness is just around the corner.)

Third, new episode of the Erin Chase Show is all about food prices and inflation plus "shrinkflation" - it's a MUST WATCH!

Last, this magic happened on Thursday...this is also a MUST MAKE THIS WEEK! ;)

The Dinner Made Easy Show 

All the stars aligned this past week. When I planned what to make for this week's DME episode, I knew I would be at the cabin and I wanted to throw a nod and feature a happy memory of my grandma. What I didn't know is that my family reunion-of-sorts would end up happening on Thursday too. It was such a joy to have my Grammy's Pasta Salad to bring back memories for them too! 

Delicious, filling, and stretches a long way! We make this by the bowl-fulls all summer long....
