Be a Part of THE FUTSAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

The USYF Championship Series Pathway
The Championship Series is a USYF nationally - sponsored series of three competitive events. Each step in the pathway is progressively more challenging. The foundation of our Championship Series is the 135 affiliates in 32 states and 40,000+ registered players in USYF local leagues, clubs and USYF Academies. The Championship Series are open events and also draw heavily from enthusiastic teams outside USYF.

STATE SERIES OVERVIEW

The State Championships provide a platform for teams to compete locally against some of the top clubs in the area. Division winners will earn paid entry to the nearest USYF Regional Championship. This is an open event for anyone to attend. A team does not have to participate in a State Championship to be eligible to play in a Regional.

The first step in the Championship Series Pathway:

The State Championships provides players and coaches to compete with teams based from a larger geographic than a local league. Although these championships are titled by state, the State Championships are open competitions; open to teams including those from outside the host state. Teams that are champions of their age group earn a fully - funded registration to a USYF Regional Championship.

Whether your team is futsal - experienced or a skilled outdoor team new to futsal, the State Series offers great competition without having to enter a more competitive USYF Regional. A team does not have to participate in a State Championship to be eligible to play in a Regional.
REGIONAL SERIES OVERVIEW

The Regional Championships draw from a larger geographic area and bring together the top teams from multiple states to compete for the title of Regional Champion. Only teams that compete in a USYF Regional Championship can receive an invitation to play in our USYF National Championships. All Division Champions will be awarded an automatic bid to compete in the USYF National Championships, Division Finalists will receive a preferred bid.

The second step in the Championship Series Pathway:

The Regional Championship Series gathers the best teams in 12 regions to play against each other with the goal of securing an invitation to the USYF National Championship. The Regional Championships are an open event for anyone to attend, meaning you do not have to participate in a state championship to register. Teams can become a participant by registering directly into a Regional. However, the most exciting and perhaps rewarding method is to take the State Championship path and become a division champion where your team can earn a fully paid registration into a Regional.
NATIONAL SERIES OVERVIEW

In 2021, our Championship Series events provided over 8,000 players on 825+ teams from 31 states the opportunity to showcase their talents against the best competition in the country. The USYF National Championship is highest-level tournament for any youth futsal team in country. This is an invitation only event including teams that were either crowned Champions or Finalists from their respective Regional Championships. If space is available in some age groups, we will accept at-large applications from teams that competed in a Regional Championship.

The Final Step in the USYF Championship Series.

The National Championship is held in Overland Park, KS July 8 - 11, 2022
