It's been a while since we've worn real pants (almost two years, to be exact), and lately, we've been thinking that it's time to give our trusty leggings a break. With spring rapidly approaching, we're feeling inspired to shimmy into something a bit more polished, and we've set our sights on a pair of chic and comfortable Madewell jeans.

The brand recently released a trendy wide-leg version of its bestselling Perfect Vintage Jeans and we're obsessed. The full-length jeans come in 11 sizes and five different washes (we're particularly fond of the slightly faded Elmont shade). They have a slouchy leg wide-leg design and are made with built-in stretch, so they seem like a great option for anyone making the transition from cozy leggings back to structured pants.

At $138, the jeans are admittedly a bit of an investment. But if you're like us and you haven't purchased new jeans in a few years, it's a lot easier to justify. Plus, we're pretty sure that the feeling we get when we step into real pants again will make it worth it.
