Public Preview of Matisse and the Sea Friday, February 16 | 4-8 pm | Free
Matisse and the Sea is the first exhibition to examine the significance of the sea across Henri Matisse's career. Join us for a preview of the exhibition with drinks and entertainment in Sculpture Hall.
PLEASE NOTE: Free tickets to the exhibition on the evening of the public preview are available at 3 pm onsite only on the day of the event. For future Free Friday visits, tickets are recommended in advance.
Artist Talk: Dominic Chambers Friday, February 2 | 4:30-5:30 pm | Free
Nationally renowned artist and St. Louis native Dominic Chambers will deliver an artist talk in conversation with Simon Kelly, SLAM's curator of modern and contemporary art. During the conversation, Chambers will share works from the Museum's collection that inspired him in his youth and influenced his professional career.

Celebrate the Year of the Dragon by enjoying free music and dance performances, making your own art you can take home, and exploring SLAM's Asian art collection. More details to come!

Exploring racial tension on the hottest day of the year, director Spike Lee's 1989 comedy-drama Do the Right Thing frequently appears on critics' lists of the best films ever made. In addition to Aiello and Lee, the film also stars Ossie Davis, Ruby Dee, Richard Edson, Giancarlo Esposito, Bill Nunn, John Turturro, and Samuel L. Jackson. Rated R, 120 minutes.

Art in Bloom 2024 Friday, March 1-Sunday, March 3 | Free
Dozens of works from the Museum's collection are imaginatively interpreted through floral design at Art in Bloom! The festival also includes special ticketed events, family activities, dining, and shopping. Floral arrangements are refreshed daily, and the Museum will offer exclusive Member hours from 8 to 10 am on all three days of the festival.
