New on View Romare Bearden: Resonances  May 3 - September 15 This exhibition highlights Romare Bearden and his relationships with other artists in the Museum's collection.  Romare Bearden: Revisited Friday, May 3 | 6-7 pm | Free Enjoy an evening of live jazz performed by the Kasimu Taylor Quartet in Grigg Gallery to celebrate the opening of the exhibition.   Jaune Quick-to-See Smith May 3 - November 10 The exhibition will highlight Jaune Quick-to-See Smith's works from the Museum collection. As one of the most celebrated contemporary artists of Indigenous heritage, this exhibition will span Smith's career and draw attention to her work in St. Louis. Artists in Conversation: Jaune Quick-to-See Smith and Neal Ambrose-Smith Saturday, May 4 | 11 am-noon | Free Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, joined by her son artist Neal Ambrose-Smith, will speak about her wide-ranging artistic practice, highlighting two artworks the Museum recently acquired.  May Events Artist Demo: Tamara Johnson Friday, May 3 | 5-8 pm | Free Artist Tamara Johnson will provide two casting demonstrations, both evident in her artistic process and the Currents 123: Tamara Johnson exhibition.
