Far too many corporate executives are profiting off this continued exploitation of people and the planet. And through their attempts to buy off lawmakers and influence policymaking processes, they're even going as far as interfering in our democracy. Corporations -- and the elite few that run them -- shouldn't have such sweeping control of our lives. That's why we're joining a coalition of organizations that are demanding Congress pass the Democracy For All Amendment. It's time we overturn unrestrained campaign spending and disrupt the flow of dark money that is corrupting American democracy. So will you join us by taking action today? We must end dark money in democracy! Corporate influence over the U.S. government has been growing for decades. But over the last several years, we've seen this process accelerate, no thanks to the gutting of policies and institutions that are meant to keep us and our communities safe. This includes catastrophic decisions by the Supreme Court like Citizens United, which weakened longstanding campaign finance restrictions and further tilted political influence toward corporations and the elite, wealthy few.1 Enough is enough!
