Donald Trump has accused Sir Keir Starmer's "far-left" Labour Party of interfering in the US election in a bid to block his return to the White House.
With polls on a knife-edge, the former President accused Labour of illegal foreign campaign donations after its director of operations said "nearly 100" staffers were on their way to the States to campaign for Kamala Harris.
Lawyers for team Trump argue the support amounts to illegal "contributions" from foreign actors.
But there is no evidence Labour has made any financial contributions to the Democrat campaign, while Labour and Tory members have long campaigned for the Democrats and Republicans in US elections.
If Trump wins, the revelation will weigh on the already-strained relationship between Sir Keir and his potential US counterpart.
If Trump loses, it will only add to the slew of likely legal challenges that would follow, adding ammunition to a fresh round of claims the election was "stolen".
