Hey folks, Andy Beshear here, Governor of Kentucky and Chair of the Democratic Governors Association. I’m reaching out today because we need your input on my brand new survey. |
|
|
I don't know about you, but I'm tired of politics impacting things that should be nonpartisan issues. Access to critical services like health care should be the focus of every leader regardless of party – and that’s exactly what my fellow Dem govs and I are focused on. |
I believe health care is a basic human right and anyone who needs care should be able to access it, so in Kentucky, we’ve taken action to improve our state’s health care system: |
๐ฉบ Expanded Medicaid |
๐ฒ Capped insulin costs |
๐ฅ Opened new hospitals and expanded existing ones |
๐ Passed bipartisan legislation to decrease prescription drug costs |
๐ฐ Secured over $200 million in funding to lessen the impact of federal cuts and help support care in rural communities |
๐งช Boosted medical research |
Meanwhile, the president and D.C. politicians are cutting health care while giving tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans. People ask me how I won in a deep-red state, and the answer is simple: I deliver results on issues that matter, like this. |
I am proof that by focusing on the everyday challenges of families and bringing people together, Democrats can win anywhere. And with Donald Trump in the White House, Democratic governors like me are our last line of defense against his destructive agenda in the states. |
We have a real opportunity to expand our blue firewall this November – even in states Republicans think they own. But Trump and his allies are already gearing up to throw everything they have at us in these races on the ballot, and we need help from grassroots supporters like you. So we selected you to complete my brand new survey. Can I count on you to take it as soon as you can? |

I appreciate your input.
Andy Beshear
Governor of Kentucky
DGA Chair
|
As a second-term governor, Andy Beshear has a long record of accomplishments. He restored voting rights to nearly 200,000 Kentuckians, secured low-cost health care for tens of thousands, had the three best economic development years on record, and had the lowest unemployment rate in state history. He won his first election for governor by just 5,136 votes and his second by 5 percentage points because Kentuckians and folks across the country know that he will work every day to make Americans’ lives better – from jobs to infrastructure, health care, public education, and so much more.
Now, as our DGA Chair in 2026, he will continue to fight for progress by electing Democratic governors across the country.
Andy Beshear needs your help. Will you make your voice heard and take his survey now? |
