The 4th Annual WiMAX Distinction Award, presented by INTERNET TELEPHONY, will honor products that demonstrate innovation, unique features, and significant contributions toward improving technology in the WiMAX space. While innovation is frequently a question of firsts, often it is taking an existing idea and improving upon it or looking at it from a slightly different perspective. Challenging established standards, and introducing different approaches to achieve distinctive results certainly helps to define innovation within this industry.
The 2011 WiMAX Distinction Award is bestowed upon companies demonstrating a commitment to innovation in the WiMAX space. Recipient will be judged by members of the TMC editorial staff to have developed and deployed an exemplary product or service. Customer case studies and contact information are key elements of the decision making process. Thus, the product or service must be generally available or actively in a large scale beta test deployment by the announcement date of the award winners. However, award candidates need not submit an actual product or link to a service unless requested to do so by the TMC editorial staff. Applicants are encouraged to send supplementary printed materials to aid in the selection process.
Winners of the 2011 WiMAX Distinction Award will be published in the June 2011 issue of INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine and on TMCnet's WiMAX Website, http://wimax.tmcnet.com. In addition, a press kit will be provided including press release template and logos and all winners receive customized plaque.
Early Bird Deadline: March 15, 2011 - Save $100 - Entry fee is $575.
Final Deadline: April 1, 2010 - Application fee is $675.
