Green Salsa
Metric Ingredient Imperial
750 ml green tomatoes, chopped 3 cup
30 ml onion, chopped 2 tbsp
30 ml garlic, minced 2 tbsp
30 ml fresh cilantro, snipped 2 tbsp
2 small green chile peppers, stemmed, seeded & sliced 2
- salt & pepper to taste -
Place ingredients in saucepan, bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook until the tomatoes are fork tender. Transfer to food processor and process briefly on low to break up larger vegetable pieces. Transfer to a bowl, add salt and pepper to taste.
