How to play jazz songs in ANY key ->

4 steps for instantly transposing jazz standards ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Hey Indiana,

It's no secret:

Jazz standards are composed in many different keys - it's not good enough to be able to play only a few different keys.

On top of this, even in one jazz standard you might find multiple key changes - even up to 5, like in All The Things You Are.

And then, if you happen to play with a singer and they forget to bring some chord charts for you, there is a good chance that they will be singing a song in a different key than the one you learned it in.

I get it, it sounds intimidating.

But there is good news:

Over time, you can learn to almost instantaneously transpose songs on the spot.

No, there is not a magical pill you can take. It will require time and effort.

But it is doable for anyone, trust me.

I want to help make your task easier, that's why I'm sharing a free video lesson I've made that outlines 4 steps you can take to start transposing jazz songs with ease!

TRANSPOSE JAZZ SONGS

BTW, one of the best ways to get great at playing jazz and get better at playing in different keys is simply to learn more songs, which is exactly what we do in our Learn Jazz Standards Inner Circle.

We learn new jazz standards every single month, and you get access to all of our jazz courses, and our community of musicians who are all practicing and working towards the same goals.

If that sounds helpful to you, we'd love to have you come join us!
