Don't Arrest Sudan President, Say African Leaders
ADDIS ABABA, Jan 30 (OneWorld.net) - Executives of the African Union
have called for a 12-month suspension of international efforts to
arrest President Omar al-Bashir of Sudan, claiming his detention would
derail the peace process in the conflict-ridden African country.

Humanitarian Catastrophe 'Unfolding' in Sri Lanka

killed if the estimated quarter of a million people trapped by
fighting between the Sri Lankan military and a militant group are not
