Gartner, IDC Agree: Semiconductor Sales Face 22% Drop
Gartner expects worldwide semiconductor revenue to fall 22.4 percent in 2009, from revenues of $255 billion in 2008 to $198 billion. Intel, AMD, Samsung and others have been hit hard by the economy, and IDC doesn?t expect an improvement until the second quarter of 2010.
