Vintage wooden video game icons for your walls
It's impossible not to be nostalgic about the early days of video games; everything was cheaper, gameplay was addictively simple, and Bill Laimbeer's Combat Basketball definitely existed. Putting the good ol' days on your walls, 8 Bit Wood.

8 Bit's a collection of characters from the NES era, turned into art via blocks of pine stained and glued together to mimic huge pixels by an employee of Guitar Hero-makers Neversoft, who unfortunately never get to leverage that unique quality, as they are nerds. Works include a flying, raccoon suit-wearing Mario, along with other characters from Mario 3 like a question mark box, a Goomba, a 1UP mushroom, and the round, ghostly white Boo -- which, if you produce yourself, probably means it's time to see the gastroenterologist. There're also designs like Mega Man and goon boss Cut Man, Duck Hunt's flying/shot birds and the laughing dog, a wall-climbing Ryu from Ninja Gaiden, and Contra's muscular, machine-gun-equipped hero plus the symbol for gun upgrades, which is oddly a wing, and not Brian McNamee.

You can go even deeper retro with pieces from the arcade and Atari days, such as the ostrich-mounted character from Joust, the gator-hopping star of Pitfall!, and the shooting tank and alien monsters from Space Invaders, who just came looking for a fair hoops game, having precious little idea that referees had been fired by Bill Laimbeer sometime prior to the year 2030.
