(UPI) -- Loui Eriksson and Jason Williams rallied Dallas with third-period goals Saturday and the Stars posted a 3-2 comeback win over San Jose. Entering the final frame trailing 2-1, Eriksson pulled the Stars even 7:37 into the third on wrist shot. Williams got the go-ahead tally only 5 minutes later to give Dallas a much-needed win. Jamie Benn added a goal and an assist, and Kari Lehtonen held on through an intense third period, turning aside 29-of-31 total shots as the Stars gained two points in the tight Western Conference playoff race and snapped San Jose's eight-game winning streak. Kyle Wellwood and Patrick Marleau scored and Antti Niemi made 25 saves for the Pacific Division-leading Sharks. Top-seeded Serb Jankovic, a former world No. 1, dispatched eighth-seeded Polona Hercog of Slovenia 6-3, 6-2 in one semifinal. Meanwhile, defending champ and No. 2 seed Pavlychenkova of Russia topped Gisela Dulko of Argentina 6-4, 6-1 on the hard courts at Sierra Madre Tennis Club. Jankovic and Pavlychenkova have had one previous meeting -- Pavlychenkova bested Jankovic 6-4, 6-4 in the second round of the 2009 Indian Wells tournament.
